Literature Text

The next morning being a school morning for the kids, you reluctantly tossed yourself out of your bed at the sound of your alarm. You cleared your throat, scaring the few cats in your room, as you shook your hair around and scratched at your head. You coughed a bit as you made your way to your feet and navigated to the halls with your eyes closed.

You took in a deep breath, "...Aye!! Get the fuck up!! You got school!!!!" you yelled. You heard two very similar variations of your wake up routine occur. Once you heard their groaning, you were sure they were up. You stretched your arms and yawned as you went back to your room to prepare for a shower.

Once you were showered and fully awake, you went to check on Gillen in his room. He was quietly sitting in his favorite corner of the room in the dark, writing.

"You ok, sweetie?"

"I-I'm fine..."

"Well, alright. I'm off today. Do you want mommy to take you to school?"

He held the notebook that was in his lap close to his chest as he looked down thinking. "U-uhm...I-I don't know. I-I'll go to school whichever way Lutz picks, i-if that's ok, mommy."

"That's fine, baby. Go on back to your writing until it's time to go, ok?"

"M-mhm."

You quietly shut his door before going to Lutz's room next. You just stood outside the door and shouted, "Lutz!"

"I'm dressed."

"Alright. You want to take the bus or you want me to take you?"

"You dropping us off at the same time?"

"Yeah."

"Shit, I'll just take the bus then."

"Whaaaaatever...Oh, yeah! I got a third one now!" you remembered then went to the living room to check on the new kid. He was under the covers, obviously still sleeping. "Yo! Get up! You got school." He didn't move any. You slapped down on the covers, and he stirred a bit. "Hey! Get up!"

"Noooo!" he drawled, sounding as if it was going into a pillow. "Fuck off."

You stood there for a minute, blinking. You then went off to your room where you retrieved your whistle. You trotted off to the living room once more and squatted down beside the armrest of the couch before bringing a really big breath in then letting it all out through the whistle. Freaking out, he fell off the couch screaming, nearly hitting his head on the coffee table nearby.

"Wake up," you stated.

Once getting himself together and sitting up on the floor, "What the hell is wrong with you?!" he exclaimed and jumped at you.

"Bitch! You got school today!" you sassed and jumped back at him. You stood back up and pointed down to him. "Jump at me like that again, I'll back hand you so hard, I just might snap your neck with it, little boy...You better get dressed, cause you're not missing school today."

"Fine! Whatever! I'm up, ok?!"

"Thank you~!" you sang on your way back to your room.

Like you did every morning at 6:45, you went out to the living room. You saw Roderich on the couch but up and dressed, getting his shoes on.

"Get ready for morning check," you told him.

"What?"

"Just fall in line." You blew your whistle. "Line up!" On cue, your two lined up in front of you. You looked over to the newbie. "Fall in line."

"The fuck? No."

"Don't be difficult."

"That look like some military, reform school type shit!"

You nodded to yourself, "That's what I should do."

"What?"

"Nothing."

"You are not sending me off to fucking boarding school!"

You leaned over the couch, grinning at him. "Oh, don't worry. You're staying right here with me~! Get in line."

"No."

"Get in the line."

"Don't feel like it."

"Get. In line."

He shrugged smugly, "I can do this all day."

You giggled on your way to the dining room. "You can?" You dragged one of the chairs back with you. "No, I can! I don't have anything to do. You can't. You got shit you wanna do." You stopped a few feet away from where he stood and sat down.

"Are you serious?"

You pointed down in front of you. "We ain't going nowhere til you bring dat ass here, boy!"

"I still can't tell if you're serious or not."

You shrugged while shaking your head.

"This is fucking stupid," he remarked on his way to his charger to get his phone.

"Whoa! Where you going? You can't go anywhere besides in line."

"Really?"

You stood back up and replied, "Well, you can, but I already told you that you can't and would have to smack you for doing something so ridiculous!"

Ignoring your threat, he went back on his way. You rubbed your hands together as you walked up behind him and smacked the back of his head.

"Fuck!"

"Oooooohhh. Stings, don't it?"

You and him stared one another down for a moment. He tried to quickly make a run for his phone, but you beat him to it and stomped down on the cord to the charger it was hooked up to.

"What the fuck?! That's my phone!"

When you were sure he was done, you began to explain, "...Listen...You've been working my very last nerve since you got here. You've been testing me for the last twenty-four hours...Now, I could just leave you alone. As long as you're not fucking up my house, why should I care, right? You're not my kid!"

You snickered as you shook your head, "But you've done fucked up and made this fun now! I haven't had to bark like this since Lutz turned thirteen! The gloves are off! So, let me promise you something, newbie...I'm gonna break you. By the end of this year, you gonna respect me. That ass?! That one right there! The one you always sitting on! That shit mine now!...Get your book bag."

"Fuck you, alright!"

"Aye! Aye!" You pointed to him, then down at his phone. "Aye! Your phone. My foot. Wanna see what happens?"

He eyed the phone for a bit, then you as you rocked back and forth with your lips poked out and hands behind your back. He reluctantly grabbed his book bag.

"Good boy!" you teased as you dug around in your pocket. You held up a key on a keychain. "Key?"

He dragged his feet over and made a face at you before snatching the key. You grinned from ear to ear.

"Lutz, deary! Do you still have time to make the bus?"

"Do I still have to go to school if we don't?"

"Yes."

"Fuck. Yeah, we got time."

"Great! Roderich? Could you get in line for me?"

"Could you give me my phone?"

"Could you get in line?"

He smacked his teeth before going to stand beside Lutz. You dramatically gasped and covered your mouth. "Good job!" you praised. He stuck his tongue out at you and you snickered at him.

"Anyway. Beilschmidts! Keys!"

The pair both held up a keychain.

"Book bags!"

Gillen held his in the air, and Lutz tugged on the strap of his.

"Do you or do you not have all the books you will need for the school day?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"I actually got'em today."

"Wow!" You unplugged the phone and tossed it at Roderich. "Dis-missed!" The three headed towards the door. "Wait! Stop!" You pointed to your new one. "You. Where you going?"

"Where the fuck you woke me up to go!"

"Not with them. I have to register you." You used your finger to signal him to walk back over to you. "Come here."

He huffed and remarked, "I'm getting tired of you bossing me around lik-."

"Boy, shut yo dumb ass up, before I slap every last taste bud out of your mouth and make you pick them shits off the floor individually! You two! Get out of here before you start trying to instigate."

"That's my brother, ma. I wouldn't do something like that just so I could hear you get on someone who's not me," Lutz claimed.

"Oh, don't worry. Judging by how things are going so far, you're gonna be hearing a lot of that over this year. He's bout to make you look like my angel child."

Lutz raised his arms in the air victoriously. "Yes...I knew the day would come where I'd get to be the good kid by comparison. Come on, Gil."

Gillen sadly peeked over to Roderich on his way out. "I-if you just keep quiet, she'll leave you alone."

"Ma!! Gil's instigating!"

"N-no, I'm n-"

Lutz shoved him as he was closing the door. "Shut up! He's making me look better."

You gathered all of the things you would need to properly register him into a folder before driving him to the school he would soon be attending. Once you arrived, you skipped the front desk and made your way to the office you were far too familiar with. You waited for one of the women over the desk to either finish what they were typing or get off the phone so they could help you.

"Can you even legally do this?" Roderich asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, you're not my legal guardian, right? And you're not my mom. Wouldn't my dad have to do this?"

You placed one of your hands on your hips as you began mocking him, "'Can you even legally do this? You're not my guardian, right?' Shut yo 'we will rock you' lookin' ass up and sit down somewhere, before I slap all the shit out of you!"

He furrowed his brows at you while shaking his head, but went off towards one of the chairs in the room anyway.

"I still can not tell if you are actually serious or not!"

"I am so serious. Now, sit down."

"(name)?" one of the women noticed you. "I don't remember having to call you. I don't even think Lutz is at school yet."

"Hey, Sherrie. I'm not here for him today. I'm registering a new student."

"You have another one?"

"Long story. I have all of his paperwork right here. I'll sign whatever I have to sign to hurry up and get out of here and hopefully not have to come back."

After you finished your half of the process, it was now out of your hands and for the school to handle. Before you left, you gave a few departing words to Roderich, "Since it's your first day, try not to get into any fights. I really don't feel like coming back. Don't fuck up, aaaannd...Oh, yeah. I don't know if the boys told you or not, but in my house, we have a school motto. 'If you fail a class, it's yo ass.' Bring home a F to me on your report card, and I'm tearing you up. That's about it, I think. See you at home."

When you left the room, he sighed in relief, "Fucking bitch...At least I don't have to deal with her for a couple hours."

About ten minutes or so went by of him just sitting there. Phones were ringing every other minute in the background and adults were in and out of the room. Every now and again, one would ask him what he was doing there, but other than that, they didn't really pay him much mind as he sat there on his phone. After twenty more minutes, his cellphone's entertainment level without headphones began to drop, and he became even more bored.

A boy walked in while he just so happened to be looking up. He had messy dirty blonde hair and slouched when he walked. His eyes and the boy's dully lit green ones connected for a moment. Roderich averted his, concluding that the boy was creepy as hell.

"Feliks. Are you here to see your guidance counselor?" one of the ladies over the counter questioned.

"Yep."

"Alright. Just take a seat for a moment."

"Kay."

Feliks made his way to a seat and happened to pick one that was in front of Roderich. Feliks stared at him for awhile. He felt the weird kid's staring, but he didn't want to say anything to him. After a couple minutes though, it was just uncomfortable.

"What?"

"...Sup."

He focused back to his phone, "Everybody out here is fucking weird."

"Uhm...Roderich? Is that how you pronounce it?" one of the women wondered out loud.

"Yeah, sure," he replied while getting up.

"Here's your schedule for now. We might have to change it later, but for now just go to these classes."

He went to get his list of classes, but glanced over to that weird kid for a second before leaving. Feliks was gnawing on a pencil and still staring at the chair he was just sitting in. Roderich quickly left, hoping he won't ever have to run into him again.
There will probably be a lot of roasting in this. I'm black. It's what I do XD
