Mother's day was quickly approaching. Both of your sons, Luciano and his older twin brother Flavio, wanted to do something special for you this year.

Flavio has spent the last few months making you the best dress he could. Though he was just eleven, you were a fashion designer yourself and have been teaching him everything he knows since he was much smaller. He was always interested in your work and was a fast learner. He really had a gift at it.

Luciano was never too interested in any of it. Though he loved you as his mother, he didn't feel as if he connected with you like Flavio did. He didn't have any special talents like you guys. He didn't feel as if he fit in very well.

Nevertheless, he wanted to do something for you for Mother's day as well. The only way he could see himself doing something for you however, was by buying something, but like most eleven year olds, he was broke. The money wasn't going to stop him from giving you something for mother's day though. He just had to figure out how to get it.

The next morning, You helped the boys prepare for school. You always liked to keep them fashionable, sometimes in one of a kind things that you'd make specifically for them considering your clothing line didn't sell to kids. You were always so proud at how well they wore your clothes. They looked adorable.

You handed them both their backpack then directed them off to the car. Driving them to and from school was one of your favorite things considering you didn't have too much free time to spend with them.

You pulled up in front of the fairly large and prestigious school. Though it was just a public school, it was zoned for richer neighborhoods so it was very nice. You were going to just send your boys off to private school, but this one was already so close and had such nice reviews.

The two got out the car and waved to you as you excitedly waved back before they disappeared off into the crowd of other kids.

When the two brothers got inside, they walked together to get to their lockers which were adjacent to one another, coincidentally.

"Hey, Flavio! How's mom's dress coming along?!" Flavio spoke out loud. "It's going great! Thanks for asking!"

"I didn't ask."

"I even made it mom's favorite color, but you know, it's not like overbearing or anything. Real subtle, and totally right for spring, ya know? But, it is going to be summer time soon, so I had to think of how to make it a cool little summer dress too! I mean like, seriously! I'm mixing seasons here, but of course I can do it!"

"Oh, my god! Like really?! Shut the fuck up!"

"Well, excuse you, Luci!"

"Stop calling me that!"

Flavio stuck his nose in the air and walked ahead of him a little, "Luci. You're bi-polar is showing."

"Fuck you!"

Flavio laughed some under his breath before walking back to him. "You know, you could help me with it, if you want. It can be from both of us!"

"No, thanks. I already know what I'm getting mom."

"You're getting her something?"

"Uh-huh."

"With what money?!"

"Don't worry about that."

"Luci, that makes me worried."

"Stop...calling me that."

Flavio threw his arm over his younger brother's shoulders as they approached their lockers. As they both were searching for different books, since they had different classes first period, a familiar and excited voice yelled, "Hey, guys!"

"Hey, Dyah!" Flavio greeted her back as he closed his locker. Luciano closed his locker as well and just looked at the girl briefly, which he felt was all the acknowledgement she needed.

Dyah was a short girl, shorter than him even, which made him feel better about himself. She actually lived nowhere close by. The only way she got into this school was lying and using her uncle's address, whose house zoned for this middle school. She was poor, and her uncle hated her guts so it was a mystery to Luciano and anyone else who knew this as to how she was able to dress the way she did.

Her clothes were normally designer brands, her shoes were always new and she would wear a different pair usually every week. She had jewelry, expensive electronics and everything. Where was she getting the money? Maybe she could help him out.

"What is up with the Hitachiin twins~?!"

"Don't call us that."

She nodded her head against Luciano's shirt, "Oh, don't be in such a mood, Kauro~" He balled up his fist and hit the top of her head, then the small girl was basically down for the count. "A-ah! Oh, my god! Why?! That wasn't even called for!"

"L-Luci! You shouldn't hit girls!"

"That was a warning strike, next time I'll end your fucking life!"

"Fuck! Flavio! Give him like a Snicker bar or something! This just ain't right!"

"I will fu-" Flavio grabbed his brother before he could launch at the girl. She stuck her tongue out at him, teasing him.

"Y-you're not making this better, Dyah! Seriously! He's really wrinkling my clothes with all of his struggling before I even get to first period!"

"You care so much about my well being to hold him back!" she bubbled. She got off the floor and dusted herself off, "Alright. Alright," she bowed her head to Luciano, "I am sorry I called you an extremely attractive anime character, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me," raising her head again, she began to exit the scene. "I'm off to class then!"

Flavio let his brother go after he felt him relaxing more; then Flavio frantically tried his best to fix his clothes.

"I swear, it's that girl's fault I keep extra clothes in my locker. She just really loves working you up."

Luciano huffed, "I'm going to class."

"Alright! See ya later, Luci!"

"Seriously! Cut it out!"

Leaving his brother, Luciano went off towards his class that he shared with Dyah. So, even if he didn't see her again in the halls, he could expect her to be one of the first persons in the classroom, giving him a chance to ask her his questions. But luckily, he saw her sooner rather than later.

He pushed her back causing her to turn around. She put up her arms defensively, "I was just playing! Chill out! No need for violence!"

"Shut up. I want to talk to you about something."

"Alrighty then! What's up?"

"How can you afford everything you're wearing?"

"Huh?"

"Your mom can't buy it, and your uncle hates you."

"Oh! I make my own money!"

"Really? How?"

"Selling stuff."

He tilted his head a bit, "Selling what?"

She looked up as she tapped her chin, "Uhm...It's kinda a long story. I just make my own money."

"Tell me how you do it."

"Why?"

"I need to buy something."

"Then ask your mom! The hell!"

"No! I can't use her money, and I can't let her know I'm buying it! Just tell me how you do it!"

"...Are you trying to buy drugs?"

"What the hell would I do with drugs?!"

She crossed her arms and thought some more, "Well, I can rule that off the list of things you want. Alright. You can help me then! You can come over my house if you want! That's where I do most of the sellin'; in my neighborhood!"

"Ok."

"Yay!" she went running down the hall screaming, "Me and Luciano are gonna be hanging out~!"

"We're gonna end up fighting by the end of this school year! I promise!"

At the end of school, Luciano found Dyah walking from the entrance. He came up beside her and walked along with her. She stopped. He stopped too. She started back walking and he just shrugged it off and kept following her. She stopped again.

"The f-"

"W-why are you following me?!"

"Bitch! Are you serious?!"

"...Oh! You wanted to do that today?"

He held up both of his hands in defeat. "You know what? I don't even think I love my mom this much."

"Your mom? Oh! Oh! Are you trying to buy her a birthday present?! Is her birthday soon or something?"

"I'm walking away now before I end up choking you right here."

"No! No! Wait! Come on! I can help you! Did you tell your mom first?"

"I told my brother to tell her for me. It'll be f-" before he could finish telling her to stop worrying, his phone went off. You, like a parent, were calling him. He answered it. "Hey."

"Where are you?! You were so vague with your brother! You can't just go running off places with your friends! Are you still at the school?!"

"Mom!" he complained.

"Oh! Found you!" You quickly pulled the car up to Luciano and his friend. You rolled down your window and smiled broadly. "Hi, sweetie!"

He blushed and tried to hide his face with one of his hands.

You gasped, "Oh, my goodness! Come here. Let me straighten out your shirt."

"M-mom. J-just drive away or something."

"You were ditching your brother for a date?! They grow up so fast!"

"What?! I don't e-"

The back window was rolled down. "Luci!"

"Stop calling me that!"

"Since when did you start hanging out with Dyah?! I thought you didn't like her!"

"My boys are in a love triangle!" you fretted. "S-someone always dies in one of these! Don't kill each other, boys!"

"Don't kill each other! I'm not worth it!" Luciano hit her again. "W-why can't you ever take a joke?!"

"When are your parents getting here, sweetie?" you wondered to the girl as you looked around.

"Oh, my mom doesn't pick me up. I just take the bus."

"Oh...How about I drive you two?" You smirked as you asked, "Where were you two going together?"

"Mom, seriously!"

"My house! I was going to show him around my neighborhood."

"Well, hop in the car! I'll take you two!"

"Thank you, Ms.Vargas!" she showed her appreciation before getting into the back of the car. Luciano walked around to the passenger's side.

You elbowed him. "Luciano. You're not going to go sit back there with your girlfriend?"

"She's not my girlfriend. I don't even like her as a person, let alone as a girl."

"Well, I at least feel better knowing I won't have to worry about you and your brother killing each other," you joked.

You drove around for about fifteen to twenty minutes with the young girl giving directions.

"You live a bit far, don't you? I didn't know the school zoned for all the way out here."

"Oh, it doesn't," she commented. "Don't tell, but I lied and said I lived with my uncle. I don't like the schools close by where my mom and I live. Make this next right."

You turned down the cracked and rough street. You started noticing spray paint on houses and street signs, and also the old broken up sidewalks with no signs of any attempts to fix them. Kids were running around dangerously in the streets. Other older teens were watching your car as it rode along.

"Y-you live here?" Flavio implied as he covered his mouth and looked out the window at the scenery he's never experienced before. "I didn't even know places like this were out here."

"You live in those little apartments over there?" Luciano pointed at the building as you all were approaching it.

"Oh, no! We used to live there though. Our house is nicer now."

When you made it to the girl's house, she exited the car, "Thank you, Ms.Vargas!"

"A-anytime, sweetie!" When you heard her close the door, you reached over to Luciano before he could get out. "You call me right when you're ready to go, alright? If anything bad happens, call 911. Immediately!"

"I'll be fine. I'm not scared or anything."

"Oh, I know. You're just so little! I really don't know what I would do if you were raped prison style out here."

"Mom!"

"Sorry. Be safe, ok?" You quickly kissed his forehead four times back to back before leaving a long drawled out kiss on his head with much protest from him. "Be careful, sweetie!" He got out the car grumbling then you drove off.

"Your mom is hella cool! I wish my mom would pick me up from school! Anyway, I was planning on just telling you what I do on the bus, but whatever," she walked off to the front door and signaled Luciano to follow her. "I sell candy at school and around my neighborhood to the younger kids. Sometimes, even the older teenagers or grown ups'll buy from me!"

She unlocked the door and went inside, "I'm home, mama!" she announced into the house with no response. "Wait here while I get the candy, Luciano."

When she came back, she had with her four black grocery bags with two in each hand.

"Come on. Lets get sellin'!" she declared on her way back out. "Now, if anybody asks, you're my cousin. You're my auntie's son though. My uncle is the only one with money. Kids out here like to jump kids with money. I usually don't get robbed because I'm a girl and everybody thinks of me as their little sister."

Up ahead, the two spot a man talking to another.

"Oh!" Dyah tapped Luciano and pointed. "That's my friend, Vash," she leaned over closer to him and whispered, "He sells drugs."

"Really?"

"Uh-huh. He's really cool though. I give him candy for free."

"Where does he get drugs?"

She pointed behind them. "This dude on the other block. He's fourteen, I think. I don't know where he gets it from, but he gets a lot of money on it! I know he gets a bunch of money just from Vash! Vash takes me with him over there sometimes. I can sell to a lot of people over there."

"Yo. You talking about me?" The older boy came over and ruffled Dyah's hair. His green eyes were low and extremely bloodshot.

"Hey, Vash!"

"Who's your little friend?"

"This is Luciano! He's my cousin."

Vash smiled at him, "Hey there, bro!"

"Yep."

"Yo. I was on my way to go see Al. Wanna come with me?"

"Hell yeah! I always get hella paid over there!"

"Alright. Hop in the car!"

"Come on, Luciano!" Dyah gave him two of the bags then followed the much older boy to a run down, rusty old white van that had peace signs, smiley faces, names, and drug references all in multiple colors.

They didn't drive that far. It was basically walking distance. Why they had to drive, he didn't really know. When the car stopped, he got out with the two and walked a little bit until they saw a red headed teenager smugly posted up on a street corner.

Him and Vash greeted each other and Dyah began pulling on Luciano's arm and talking on and on about the different candies she sold. While he was trying his hardest not to pay attention to her, he noticed Vash handing the teen a large sum of money. It looked like more that enough to get you what he wanted, and this kid didn't even have to do anything. Especially nothing stupid like selling candy to kids.

He walked with Dyah, and as they were walking around, a group of kids came running by; one was wielding a wooden board and was chasing the other two. Dyah stopped them.

"Hey! You guys know you're not suppose to be playing with this! Stop going by those old buildings and picking this kind of stuff up! Y'all get hurt!" she took it from them and threw it on the sidewalk. "Now if you're gonna kill each other, do it with candy! Got Butterfingers for fifty cents!" The group crowed around her.

While she was busy doing that, Luciano was eyeing the plank of wood. A few ideas came to mind.

"...Hey, Dyah? I'm going to go down this way and uh...sell...candy."

"Alright! Don't get jumped! If older kids want the candy, just give it to them and they won't hurt you!" Dyah mentioned as she was watching the kids as they searched through the bag, making sure they didn't try to steal anything.

"Right," he replied and just picked up the board before walking back.

As he walked, he contemplated whether or not he could actually pull this off, but before he could reach his final conclusion, he spotted the boy from earlier. He hid the plank behind himself just before the boy glanced over to him.

"Hey," Al acknowledged him. "You're that kid who was with Dyah, right?" Luciano just nodded. "She got you selling candy with her?" he looked around a bit, but just nodded again. "What she selling?" Luciano just held the bags out in front of him. Al looked at him funny before walking over.

He handed over the bags, and Al looked through them. Now, actually in the situation, Luciano had no doubts or fears as he lifted up the plank and smacked Al behind the head with it as hard as he could. He went face down and didn't move after that. Luciano wasn't sure if he just knocked him out or killed him. Now wasn't the time to worry about that, though.

He got on the ground and searched him. When he found what he was looking for, he shoved it into his pocket then took out his cellphone.

"Hey, mom. You can pick me up now."

That weekend, Luciano bought exactly what he wanted to give you and even went through the trouble of wrapping it up.

When Mother's day came, you were later than expected getting home. Your kids were used to this though. You usually were gone all weekend, but you promised them you'd be home for Mother's day, since they both claimed to have gotten you something for it.

When you got home, you yawned and stretched your arms before sitting your keys down.

"Mom!" Flavio cheered and came rushing down the stairs with a gift-wrapped box in his arms. Luciano was behind him with a smaller box in his hand. "Finally! I've been waiting to give this to you forever!"

You giggled, "How exciting!"

He held the finely wrapped box out to you proudly, "Made 100% by me and is 100% you! Promise!"

You excitedly tore through the paper and opened the box to find a beautiful dress with your favorite color complimenting the main black and white color scheme.

"O-oh, my goodness! You did this all by yourself?!"

"Sure did! Nice, huh?!"

"Nice! My first solo project sure as hell didn't look like this!" you covered your mouth. "Excuse the language, sweetie."

"I'm glad you like it, mom! You should wear it for when we go out to dinner tonight!"

"I sure will!" you gave him a big kiss on the cheek, "Thank you, dearie!"

You sat the dress on the couch before Luciano handed you his gift. It was poorly wrapped and looked rushed, but you knew he was trying and that was already enough to touch your heart.

You got past the paper and it revealed a velvet covered case. You crooked your head a bit as you popped it open. Inside was a gold necklace with two hearts locked together.

You gasped and picked it up carefully. "Oh, my goodness! Luci! I-it's! O-oh, geez! Wow! W-where did you g- How did you get this?!"

"I bought it."

"Where'd you get the money?!"

"I...saved."

"Aww! Sweetie!" you put it on before hugging him. When you let him go, you fanned under your eyes. "You two are too sweet! I'm going to go change so we can go. I don't even think I can find a pair of shoes and a purse to do my new gifts justice!" You happily skipped off to your room to change.

When you were done and in your new light spring dress, (that could also pass in the summer time, now that you think about it) you and the boys headed to the car and you began the drive to the restaurant. It was sometime around six when you left.

The traffic was light which kept your spirits up. You could get a bit of road rage at times. Suddenly, you heard something like a gunshot. It made you swerve the car a little.

You looked up to your rear view mirror and saw that someone in the car behind you was shooting.

"O-oh, my god! Mom! Are they shooting at us?! W-why would they be shooting at us?!" Flavio worried.

"I-I don't know, sweetie! Just put your heads in your laps, ok?!" The boys did as they were told. "A-and plug your ears too!"

The last request made Luciano a little curious. He then heard the gunshots again, but these sounded closer than the others. He looked up and saw one of your hands out the window shooting back while you were still trying to drive.

You turned off into the other lane and the car that is now behind you blew its horn. You honked yours back, "Aye, fuck you, lady! I hope you get hit in the fucking crossfire, bitch!"

You grumbled as you turned off the road, "M-make sure your seatbelts are on! Sit up, and hold on!"

"W-what's going on?!"

"I-I don't know right now! J-just wait, alright?"

You made a detour as you were riding through to the next road and used a route you were familiar with to get you off onto a dirt road that eventually lead to nowhere. You parked the car and let out a deep sigh.

You calmly tried to search your glove compartment, but it turned violent as what you were looking for tried to tease you with a game of hid and seek. When you got it, you closed it up a bit forcefully before yelling, "Fuck!"

You got out the car and slammed the door. The boys got out as well. "Damn it, this is bullshit! What the fuck could Nancy have fucked up so badly that she had people shooting at me?! Seriously! I've been out for like thirteen years! What kind of bullshit could she have gotten herself into that she can't fuck her way out of like she normally does?! She knows this is exactly why I got out! I had my kids in the car!" You kicked the car. "Fuck!"

"M-mom?"

You covered your mouth with both of your hands, "O-oh, I'm so sorry you had to hear all of that! I-I'm just a little stressed right now. Don't mind it."

"What are you talking about?! What did you get out of?!" Luciano insisted.

"How is it auntie Nancy's fault?"

You sighed as you tried your best to smile, "Wow. Ok! Didn't think I'd ever have to explain this to you guys! Uhm...Aww! I-I really don't want to have to tell you guys! Y-you're so innocent! I mean, it has absolutely nothing to do with you two! You don't know anything about gangs or drugs or- Oh, my god. L-Luci. Why do you look suspicious?"

"I-I d-"

"I am your mother! I know when you did something wrong! P-please tell me you had nothing to do with any of this!"

"W-well...I might have...kinda...robbed a drug dealer."

"Y-you! H-how did! O-oh, my god! Where did you even find a drug dealer?! Wait!" you held both of your hands out in front of yourself with your eyes shut. "...Don't tell me that's what you wanted to go to that girl's house for."

"To be fair, I didn't know I was gonna end up robbing a drug dealer over there!"

You rubbed your forehead, "I should have known if either one of you were going to follow in those footsteps, it was going to be you. W-why couldn't you have liked fashion like your brother?!"

"We still don't get w-"

Interrupting Luciano was the sound of another car coming. You put your finger to your lips and quickly signed for them to get back in the car.

When the vehicle stopped, you placed one of your hands up and waited to see who came out. It was a blonde boy with dark sunglasses on and a redheaded one who seemingly looked younger than the other, though they both looked as if they couldn't have been over eighteen. The blonde pointed a gun at you.

"Jesus. What's with you two?"

"Shut the fuck up and listen," the blonde spoke. "One of your kids over there in that car took some money from this fuck up behind me. Hand it over and I won't fucking shoot you, bitch."

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" you put your hand down. "Who the fuck do you think you're calling a bitch, kid?!"

"I will fucking shoot y-"

"Get the fuck outta here!" you tossed one of your old throwing knives at his arm, causing him to drop his weapon. You attacked him after that and got him on the ground. You kept your knee on his chest and a tight grip on his injured arm. "Do you know who I am?!"

"Yeah! A fucking bitch! I didn't stutter that shit!"

Your nails dug into his arm as you used your free hand to punch him. "You disrespectful piece of shit! Don't you have any fucking parents to teach you manners?! Fuck that! I'll beat the manners into you!"

"Oh, fuck! She's beating the shit outta you, Matt!"

"Get her the fuck off me!"

You took the knife from his arm and pointed it to the second boy. "You were being smart! Stay the fuck there; I'll get to you next!" You moved one of your fingers over the wound and added pressure. The boy cursed and made a lot of noise. "Now don't you ever! Refer to a fucking lady as a bitch! You got that?!"

"You know you're beating up on a high schooler, right?"

The familiar voice nearby caught your attention. You looked around til your eyes fell on the familiar red eyed blonde. You looked down at the boy you were on top of and noticed the similarities. You looked back up. Then down. Then up once again.

"I should have known this little fucker was your kid!"

"Hey, (name)."

"Fuck you! What kind of mannerless little street thugs are you raising?! How the hell are you letting these kids sell drugs for you?! They barely look sixteen! What kind of parent would let their kids sell drugs on the streets?!"

"Says the mother of the kid who stole money from drug dealing teenagers," he pointed out in a matter-of-factly way.

"T-that! T-that was different! H-his heart was in the right place! He was just thinking about his mom! Your kids are probably just out doing this for fun!"

"Keep'em tough. Making sure they don't turn into pansies, like yours."

"What?!" you pointed to your car. "My kids could beat the shit out of your kids! I was doing you a favor by getting out early and keeping my kids from it! If I didn't, your fucking mafia would be mine right now! I almost had you back in school!"

"In what? Eighth grade?"

"Eleventh! Don't try and downplay my victory! The Italian mafia basically had you bent over!"

"You're still talking over twenty years ago."

"Don't fucking tempt me!" you slapped the boy on the ground.

"Ah! Y-"

"Say it, and I'll break this hand off! Yeah, I'll break it off!"

"High schooler."

"You know what, Francis?! You've gotten pretty damn sarcastic over the years! I should take the mafia back from my sister just to shut you up and turn you back into that weird kid who ain't say shit, cause my gang had its foot so far up your ass! Matter of fact!" you got up and opened the backsteat door. You pulled Luciano out. "You're looking at the future head of the Italian mafia, right here! Isn't that right, Luciano?!"

He smiled. He had no idea what was going on, but he heard mafias and fighting, so he liked it. He's never seen you like this before. You never even cursed in front of him and Flavio. He felt more like your son than he ever did, and couldn't have asked for a better mom. "You better be careful now! I gave the mafia to my little sister just to get out. Now that I'm back with one hell of a future waiting to take over, you better fucking believe we're taking all of this shit!"
Oh, my god! I finished it! So rushed! I wanted to post something before the weekend ended, and I had this one like, not even half done. I started on it like last month when I was like "Mother's day is coming! I gotta think of a fucked up 2p!child! x mom!reader! Oh! Don't I have a request for a 2p!Child! Italy?!...*writes*...Nailed it! *high fives self*"

So, this is also a request for Tashewa I'm more than sure you weren't expecting this shit XD
